This
armchair and ottoman set is artisan crafted in the Louis XVI style and
is modeled after an 18th century "duchesse brisee." It features layered
antiqued brownstone-white finish with rubbed edges, square padded back,
sides and loose cushion seat, which is shown in a polychrome
embroidered (NEEDS FABRIC DESCRIPTION) The
armchair's downswept arms and straight seatrail has a carved
flowerhead-filled entrelac, and sits on short turned tapering legs
beaded by paterae. The
ottoman is of rectangular form with two incurved ends, and the cushion
seat is shown in a polychrome embroidered (NEEDS FABRIC DESCRIPTION) . Its seatrail is carved with flower-filled entrelac,
